DISCOVERING THE "ALPINIA GARDEN"

Unmissable stop for nature lovers: this botanical garden built in 1934 is dedicated to plants and flowers of the mountain and constitutes a flowered balcony with a breathtaking view of the Mottarone thanks to its location at 800 meters above sea level (ALPINE locality). There are two circular routes that come together and create an itinerary that not only fascinates for the interest and beauty of the over 700 different species of plants, but also offers a real harmony of mind for a truly special environmental context.
The garden opens in spring and closes in October, it can be reached by car from the Cortese Hotel in just 25 minutes. There is also the opportunity to reach the Alpinia garden with the Stresa-Mottarone cable car.
